Panasonic is adding a new camera to their FH line of pocket digital cameras. The 16-megapixel Panasonic Lumix FH7 has an image-stabilized 28mm 4x Leica zoom lens, 720p HD video and iA Intelligent Auto mode. It also adds a 3-inch touch screen LCD display with Touch Auto Focus, Touch Zoom and Touch Shutter. The new Lumix Image Uploader makes Facebook and YouTube sharing easier and the new Beauty Retouch, Esthetic and Makeup editing tools allow the user to touch-up people pictures in the camera with the touch screen LCD display.
The price and release date for the Panasonic Lumix FH7 haven’t been announced yet but we’ll update this page when that information is available. Based on other Panasonic FH-Series cameras I expect the FH7 to be priced somewhere between US $160 and $200.
