Samsung HMX-U10, SMX-K40 and SMX-K45 Camcorders

Today, Samsung announced three new camcorders, the Samsung HMX-U10, SMX-K40 and SMX-K45.

The ultra compact, HMX-U10 can record in full-HD and can take 10 megapixel still photos. It also features 1/2.3 inch CMOS sensor, 2 inch LCD screen, Samsung’s built-in intelli-studio software, animated thumbnails, and a one-touch “upload” button to YouTube.

The SMX-K40 and SMX-K45 can record video in standard definition but then can upscale the footage to near full-HD when viewing through an HDMI output. The SMX-K40 and SMX-K45 also feature a 65x Intelli-Zoom, Optical Image Stabilizer, a Schneider-KREUZNACH lens, and the SMX-K45 offers an internal 32GB Solid State Drive (SSD), providing up to 20 hours and 40 minutes of recording time.

The HMX-U10 will be available September 2009 for $199.99. The SMX-K40 and SMX-K45 will be available August 2009 for $329.99 and $499.99, respectively.
