NEW WENGER AND SWISS CAMERA CASES FROM AVENUES IN LEATHER ARE ‘PICTURE PERFECT’ AT PMA
New ANTHEM and MYTHOS Lines Combine Classic and Stylized Models With Camera Portability and Protection
LAS VEGAS – January 28, 2008 – Avenues in Leather, Inc., a leading developer of ‘accessories for the mobile consumer’ and an authorized licensee of the Wenger (Maker of the Genuine Swiss Army Knife) and SwissGear by Wenger trademarks, is bringing its newest collections of camera bags and cases to this week’s PMA 08 International Convention and Trade Show in Las Vegas. Built upon a hundred-year legacy of equipping armies, the new Wenger/SwissGear camera cases are designed with a flair for fashion as well as the legendary commitment to quality.

On display in booth #198-200 are the brand new, ANTHEM and MYTHOS lines from SwissGear. ANTHEM pieces have been strategically designed as horizontal cases for added ease-of-use on the belt and more comfortable wear than other vertically styled units. The ANTHEM fits snugly and looks sporty at the same time. The MYTHOS collection is a modern case with a unique fabric construction. A proprietary combination of nylon and a custom textured material create a modern, sophisticated design. The look is a slim and sleek design unlike other camera case products, complete with SwissGear’s quality craftsmanship. Both of the new camera case lines are available in compact, small, small plus, and medium plus sizes. The ‘plus’ cases all include an extra pocket for batteries, media cards, or other camera accessories.
The ANTHEM and MYTHOS sets are presented in the latest red and gray fashion colors respectively. All of the cases are designed to fit today’s popular camera models.
The SHERPA camera case is now available in the new small and medium plus styles, each with the extra pocket. The SHERPA large sized case is offered in a cool, gray shade. Crafted from heavy-duty neopro material, the SHERPA line also includes new burgundy and blue-trimmed cases to complement the expanding marketplace of accessories and camera styles.
The RHEA camera case collection was the first from Wenger designed especially for the ladies. Its trademark pink and black exterior with a multicolored striped interior lining sets it apart from all the other unisex camera units. Pink exterior stitching combined with a fine weave of nylon clearly say ‘ladies only’. The RHEA is available in compact, small, and medium sizes.
Built to SwissGear’s acclaimed standards, there is a preferred shape; entry slot design preference; zippered or slide-in pocket unit; with or without handle case; or extra-pocket model available to satisfy any camera aficionado. All of the four collections were created to fulfill the mission of looking good while protecting valuable cameras and camera gear. The new camera case products carry the distinctive Wenger/SwissGear logos and are currently available at major camera and consumer electronics retailers nationwide.
