But I’ll do my best to help you here. I wrote our Olympus Stylus 1030 SW pro review and I’ve been using the camera since shortly after it was available.

I believe I’ve seen the streaks you’re talking about. If they’re what I’ve seen, then they only show up on the LCD when you’re shooting or recording. They aren’t actually in the final images or videos. Have you taken photos or videos and had the streaks appear in the final images? Because if you have, that would be something new to me. I was almost about to pass on getting it but read reveiws on other sites that said you need a M+ card to shoot video for as long as your card can hold the data. so i made sure to order that card.
