Nikon Coolpix S30 Inexpensive Waterproof Camera

Nikon is pitching the S30 as a good camera for people with new babies – being waterproof and shockproof means you can take pictures without worrying about getting smashed carrots all over the camera or the baby knocking it on the floor. It will also make a good, inexpensive summer vacation camera for kids. It’s safe for the pool, the beach, raft trips and all sorts of outdoor activities.

The new Nikon Coolpix S30 waterproof digital camera will come in three colors – white, pink and blue. Sorry, no tough-guy black, fellas. It’s scheduled to be in stores in February (2012) for a suggested retail price of $119.95.
