New Sony Alpha DSLR-A850 Full Frame Digital SLR Camera  
The latest full frame DSLR from Sony is a 24.6 megapixel entry that is charted to sell for less the $2000!

Sony uses their EXMOOR CMOS sensor and dual image processing engines to produce fine quality high resolution output. The sensor is designed with wide angle lenses and high precision units from the Sony alpha line. The dual engine implementation allows for a greater amount of effective noise reduction when shooting with higher ISO settings.

Sony Announces Alpha DSLR-A550 And DSLR-A500 Digital SLRs

 
New Sony Alpha DSLR-A550 Digital SLR CameraSony adds two new cameras to their Alpha digital SLR line today. The new Sony Alpha DSLR-A550 is a 14.2-megapixel camera and the Alpha DSLR-A500 is a 12.3-megapixel camera. Both use brand new Sony Exmor CMOS imaging sensors, which are supposed to deliver better image quality at sensitivity settings up to ISO 12,800. The new Alpha A550 and A500 also offer in-camera High Dynamic Range (HDR), combining multiple images to create one with a wider tonal range - even without a tripod. The new cameras also have improved Live View functions and new 3-inch, tilting Live View LCD displays.
