Phase One released Capture One 5 PRO, the latest version of their RAW workflow software. New features include the Focus tool and Focus Mask for quick selection of images with correct focus, Skin Tone Enhancer to perfect the appearance of smooth, soft skin tones, and the ability to add vignettes to the edges of images for an artistic effect. Today, onOne Software announced PhotoTune 3, an Adobe Photoshop plug-in. PhotoTune 3 helps photographers quickly color correct and optimize their digital photos. PhotoTune 3 now includes the patented eye-fidelity technology from imsense, a new advanced dynamic range enhancement algorithm that remaps tones to match what the photographer saw, with no blown out highlights or plugged-up shadows. The new PhotoTune Wizard can now be completed in as few as 2 steps while pro users can access advanced adjustments when they want more control. Breeze Systems DSLR Remote Pro for Mac 1.0 Software
Breeze Systems has released a Mac OS X based software that controls Canon DSLR cameras, the DSLR Remote Pro for Mac 1.0. DSLR Remote Pro for Mac 1.0 can display live images on a Mac’s screen, autofocus and manually control focus from the computer, automatically take shots for focus stacking, and comprehensive time lapse control. The large preview image optionally displays flashing highlights to show over-exposed areas, grid overlay and crop marks to assist accurate alignment, black and white images and focus point overlay.
