Lensbaby announced two new additions to their Optic Swap System, the Fisheye Optic and Soft Focus Optic.

The new Lensbaby Fisheye Optic allows photographers to turn their Lensbaby Composer or Muse into a fisheye lens by swapping out the installed optic and dropping the new Fisheye Optic into the lens. The Fisheye Optic has an ultra-wide 12mm focal length and aperture settings ranging from f/4 to f/22. The Lensbaby Soft Focus Optic works with Lensbaby’s Creative Effects SLR camera lenses, the Composer, Muse and Control Freak. Two new fisheye lenses for Sony and Pentax fittings

Sigma has announced two new fisheye lenses, the 4.5mm F2.8 EX DC Circular Fisheye HSM & 10mm F2.8 EX DC Fisheye HSM.

The 4.5mm F2.8 EX DC Circular Fisheye HSM is the first 180 degree circular fisheye lens designed for use with APS-C size digital SLR cameras. The fast F2.8 maximum aperture makes it ideal for low light photography like Astrophotography and Aurora photography, while the minimum focusing distance of 13.5cm/5.3inch and maximum magnification of 1:6 make it particularly useful for close-up photography. It is also equipped with HSM for fast and quiet autofocusing and has full-time manual focus override.
