SanDisk has released the 32GB Extreme SDHC card, the world’s fastest 32 gigabyte SDHC card on the market.
The 32GB Extreme SDHC card features Class 10 performance, up to 30 megabytes per second (MB/s) read and write speeds, large storage up to 2500 RAW images, and operation at extended temperatures ranging from minus 13 F (minus 25 C) to 185 F (85 C). Today, SanDisk announced its new faster and smaller ImageMate memory card readers, the ImageMate All-In-One reader and the ImageMate Multi-Card reader.
SanDisk announced its new 32GB Extreme III Compact Flash Memory Card, perfect for the recent release of Canon’s EOS 5D Mark II DSLR camera. The EOS 5D needs large-capacity memory cards to support these added capabilities of high-megapixel still photograph and High Definition (HD) video capture. SanDisk memory cards provide the capacity required to store the resulting data.
SanDisk has upgraded its family of Extreme IV CompactFlash Memory Cards with the release of the 16-gigabyte card, twice as large as previous capacities and adding a 12.5-percent speed boost up to 45 megabytes per second.
Lexar expands its Kodak-branded memory cards with the new 16GB Kodak Secure Digital High-Capacity (SDHC) High-Speed Card.
Lexar announced a new memory card that provides an ideal combination of increased capacity, professional-level performance and reliability, the Lexar Professional UDMA 300x 16GB CompactFlash (CF) card. It is UDMA-enabled (Ultra Direct Memory Access), resulting in exceedingly fast performance and has a speed-rated at 300x, which represents a minimum sustained write speed of 45MB per second. The high capacity of the card allows photographers to store more images and shoot for longer periods without interruption. Lexar will be displaying the Professional UDMA 16GB cards at Photokina 2008 at stand F022 E023 in hall 04.1.
