Samsung SMX-C14 and SMX-C10Samsung has announced two new compact digital camcorders, the SMX-C14 and SMX-C10.

The SMX-C14 and SMX-C10 feature Samsung’s Touch of Color, a 230,000-dot, swiveling 2.7-inch wide LCD screen, 10x optical zoom, Hyper Image Stabilization, Samsung’s Active Angle Lens, play-edit-sharing program and unique features, such as time-lapse recording, animated thumbnails and a versatile charging system. The SMX-C14 includes 16GB of internal flash memory which can record over six hours of footage directly to its built in memory. It is expandable via an SD/SDHC memory card. The HDR-CX12 Memory Stick Handycam camcorder can record full 1920 x 1080 HD video and 10-megapixel photos on Sony Memory Stick PRO Duo media and any Memory Stick PRO Duo (Mark2) media cards. Roughly the size of a soda can (2.8-inches wide by 5.3-inches tall by 2.8-inches deep), this ultra-compact model will allow for easy transfer of video and stills from media cards to a compatible PC to share via email, uploading to the Internet or burning to disc.
