SanDisk 32GB Extreme SDHC Card
SanDisk has released the 32GB Extreme SDHC card, the world’s fastest 32 gigabyte SDHC card on the market.
The 32GB Extreme SDHC card features Class 10 performance, up to 30 megabytes per second (MB/s) read and write speeds, large storage up to 2500 RAW images, and operation at extended temperatures ranging from minus 13 F (minus 25 C) to 185 F (85 C). SanDisk ImageMate Memory Card Readers
Today, SanDisk announced its new faster and smaller ImageMate memory card readers, the ImageMate All-In-One reader and the ImageMate Multi-Card reader.
The All-In-One memory card reader can reach speeds of up to 34 megabytes per second (MB/s) when using a SanDisk Extreme IV 45MB/s CompactFlash card. It supports almost every memory card format currently available, such as SD, SDHC, miniSDHC, microSDHC, MMC, Memory Stick, Memory Stick Pro Duo, xD and CompactFlash. SanDisk announced its new 32GB Extreme III Compact Flash Memory Card, perfect for the recent release of Canon’s EOS 5D Mark II DSLR camera. The EOS 5D needs large-capacity memory cards to support these added capabilities of high-megapixel still photograph and High Definition (HD) video capture. SanDisk has upgraded its family of Extreme IV CompactFlash Memory Cards with the release of the 16-gigabyte card, twice as large as previous capacities and adding a 12.5-percent speed boost up to 45 megabytes per second.
SanDisk Extreme III 30MB/s Edition SDHC Cards
Today, SanDisk introduced the Extreme III 30MB/s Edition line of SDHC Cards and set a new speed record of 30 megabytes per second for SD flash memory. It has a 50-percent speed boost from previous 20MB/s cards which allows you to record 39 images in continuous shooting mode at 4.5 frames per second with a file size of 6.0 MB JPEG L Fine per image. The SanDisk Extreme III 30MB/s is designed to deliver peak performance when used with the new digital single-lens reflex (DSLR) camera, Nikon D90, which is the first DSLR camera to support SanDisk Extreme III 30MB/s Edition SDHC cards at increased performance.
