Two new tele converters for Sony mount telephoto lenses that support HSM
Sigma announced two APO Tele Converters for the Sony Mount, the APO TELE CONVERTER 1.4x EX DG and the APO TELE CONVERTER 2x EX DG. These tele converters are capable of maintaining the HSM function of telephoto lenses such as Sigma’s APO 70-200mm F2.8 II EX DG MACRO HSM and APO 50-150mm F2.8 II EX DC HSM while increasing the focal length by a factor of 1.4x or 2x.
A new compact large aperture standard zoom lens from Sigma
Sigma announced its new 24-70mm F2.8 EX DG HSM large aperture, standard zoom lens.
This lens is ideal for general photography such as snapshots, portraiture and landscapes. The 24-70mm F2.8 EX DG HSM covers focal lengths from 24mm and superior optical performance is ensured throughout the entire zoom range.
A new large aperture, medium telephoto lens for the Four Thirds System
Sigma announced its new 50mm F1.4 EX DG HSM for Four Thirds System large aperture lens.
The large aperture lens becomes a medium telephoto lens offering 100mm equivalent angle of view on Four Thirds cameras. It is ideal for portrait photography and provides sharp and high contrast images even at the maximum aperture.
New Electronic Flash Macro for Sony and Pentax cameras
Sigma has announced their new Electronic Flash Macro EM-140 DG, designed for use with AF 35mm film and DigitalSLR cameras.
The EM-140 DG features flash tubes that can be switched on or off for creative flash control, Wireless Flash Control, High Speed Synchro Flash, and it is fully dedicated with the latest TTL auto exposure systems.
