SanDisk has released the 32GB Extreme SDHC card, the world’s fastest 32 gigabyte SDHC card on the market.
The 32GB Extreme SDHC card features Class 10 performance, up to 30 megabytes per second (MB/s) read and write speeds, large storage up to 2500 RAW images, and operation at extended temperatures ranging from minus 13 F (minus 25 C) to 185 F (85 C). Pretec has announced a 32GB CFast Storage Card. It incorportates a high speed SATA interface in a CF card sized form. The 32GB Pretec card is capable of transfer speeds of up to 160MB/s which is about 300% faster than the fastest CF card today. A 64GB capacity will be released soon.
SanDisk Fills the Need for Large-Capacity, High-Performance Memory Cards
SanDisk announced its new 32GB Extreme III Compact Flash Memory Card, perfect for the recent release of Canon’s EOS 5D Mark II DSLR camera. The EOS 5D needs large-capacity memory cards to support these added capabilities of high-megapixel still photograph and High Definition (HD) video capture.
