Sony announced the new MHS-CM5 and MHS-PM5 portable Bloggie cameras. The Bloggie cameras have full high definition 1920×1080 MP4 video and 5-megapixel still photo capture, Face Detection and easy web sharing capabilities.

The MHS-CM5 camera features a large flip-out 2.5” LCD screen, 5x optical zoom, an HDMI output, and a “pistol-grip” vertical design for more comfortable shooting.

The MHS-PM5 features a rotating lens that swivels 270 degrees, 4x digital zoom and SteadyShot image stabilization, and a 2.4″ LCD with full-screen, horizontal playback in landscape format. The ultra-compact, lightweight MHS-PM5 comes in dark purple, blue, pink, and white colors.

The Sony MHS-CM5 and MHS-PM5 are available today for $200 and $170, respectively.
