Two new fisheye lenses for Sony and Pentax fittings

Sigma has announced two new fisheye lenses, the 4.5mm F2.8 EX DC Circular Fisheye HSM & 10mm F2.8 EX DC Fisheye HSM.

The 4.5mm F2.8 EX DC Circular Fisheye HSM is the first 180 degree circular fisheye lens designed for use with APS-C size digital SLR cameras. The fast F2.8 maximum aperture makes it ideal for low light photography like Astrophotography and Aurora photography, while the minimum focusing distance of 13.5cm/5.3inch and maximum magnification of 1:6 make it particularly useful for close-up photography. It is also equipped with HSM for fast and quiet autofocusing and has full-time manual focus override.

The 10mm F2.8 EX DC Fisheye HSM is designed for APS-C size digital SLR cameras for Sony and Pentax fitting cameras. Its 13.5cm minimum focusing distance and 1:3.3 maximum magnification allows close up photography and can make use of large depth of field that covers wide range of subjects. It also is equipped with HSM allowing for full-time manual focus override.
