Memory manufacturer Silicon Power has announced a 400x 12 GB Compact Flash memory card. The new memory card offers a maximum write speed of 90MB per second and 128GB is currently the largest capacity available for a Compact Flash memory card. For photographers shooting with 20+ megapixel professional cameras or making video with HD-enabled DSLRs, this new memory card should offer excellent speed along with increased capacity.
Silicon Power also recently announced a 600x Compact Flash card and they have a full line of 200x CF cards available for people who don’t need the absolute best performance. The new 400x Compact Flash card will be available in 128GB, 64GB, 32GB, 16GB and 8GB capacities as well as the aforementioned 128GB card. No price has been announced yet.
