Today, Epson announced the PictureMate Charm, a new affordable compact photo printer. It features superior photo quality, economical print costs, long-lasting prints that are smudge, scratch and water resistant, and powerful image enhancement tools, just like the previous PictureMate models. The printer also has one-touch printing and a 2.5″ LCD screen where photo editing, such as cropping, red eye removal, photo layouts and color tones can take place. The prints last up to four times longer than traditional, film-processed photos, resisting fading up to 96 years under glass and over 200 years in dark album storage.

The PictureMate Charm is perfect for printing photos at home or on the go and can print from all popular memory cards and wirelessly from PDAs and digital camera cell phones with an optional Bluetooth adapter. The PictureMate Charm will be available on October 20, 2009 for $149.99.
