Sony launched the DPP-F700 all-in-one digital picture frame with printer. The DPP-F700 features a 7-inch LCD with WVGA resolution, image editing, one gigabyte of internal storage capacity with an auto-resizing adjustment that downsizes photos to store up to 2,000 photos, and support for most memory cards, including Memory Stick PRO, Memory Stick PRO Duo, Secure Digital, SDHC, Multi-Media Card, Compact Flash, and xD-Picture Card media. Sony adds two new cameras to their Alpha digital SLR line today. The new Sony Alpha DSLR-A550 is a 14.2-megapixel camera and the Alpha DSLR-A500 is a 12.3-megapixel camera. Both use brand new Sony Exmor CMOS imaging sensors, which are supposed to deliver better image quality at sensitivity settings up to ISO 12,800. The new Alpha A550 and A500 also offer in-camera High Dynamic Range (HDR), combining multiple images to create one with a wider tonal range - even without a tripod. The new cameras also have improved Live View functions and new 3-inch, tilting Live View LCD displays.

Sony announced two new digital cameras, the Sony Cybershot DSC-TX1 and Cybershot DSC-WX1.
The DSC-TX1 and DSC-WX1 are the first Cybershot digital cameras to use Sony’s new “Exmor R” back illuminated CMOS sensor technology. The “Exmor R” technology improves shooting in low-light scenarios, enhances image clarity and drastically reduces grain. These cameras also include the hand-held twilight and anti-motion blur multi-shot mode, Sony’s Sweep Panorama and 10 frames per second burst shooting features, Intelligent Auto, Face Detection, intelligent Scene, Pet mode, Smile Shutter technology, dynamic range optimization, and intelligent Auto Focus. It will capture more natural expressions and fun, candid moments of you, your family and friends. Sigma Corporation has made available at their US website an online repair order form and payment information. A revamped Service page at the site, Sigma Online Mall Service Page, has tabs for both United States Customers and those Outside of the United States. Online tracking is now available via a customer generated form.
Contact information is available for Authorized Sigma Service Centers. Sigma acknowledges that they expedite customers repair work by sometimes forwarding work to these vendors and tells customers to be prepared to have direct communication with them.
A step-by-step procedure is posted to aid customers seeking repair/warranty service for Sigma products and third party products by Sigma for Canon, Nikon, Sony/Minolta, Pentax and of course the 4/3rds lenses for Olympus and Panasonic.
