The 12.1-megapixel Casio Exilim Hi-Zoom EX-H10 digital camera has an ultra-wide10x optical zoom lens (24-240mm - 35mm equivalent), a 3-inch LCD, and an estimated 1000 shots per battery charge - very impressive for a camera that will actually fit in your pocket!

2009 PMA Camera And Photography Tradeshow

This year’s Photo Marketing Association tradeshow, otherwise known as PMA, takes place at the Las Vegas Convention Center from March 3rd to 5th. Every spring all the major camera, photography software and photo accessory manufacturers assemble to show off their latest wares. Today, Casio announced the latest digital camera to its Exilim series, the Casio Exilim Zoom EX-Z29.

The slim and compact Casio Exilim Zoom EX-Z29 features 10.1 megapixels, 3x optical zoom, 2.7-inch wide LCD display, face detection, Anti-Shake DSP, 23 Best Shot Modes, and Easy Mode, which simplifies the camera settings to three easy menus, image size, flash and self timer. It looks like some of the high-speed capture technology from Casio’s award-winning Exilim EX-F1 and Exilim EX-FH20 is starting to trickle down into Casio’s pocket digital cameras. Today at CES, Casio announced the Exilim EX-FS10 and EX-FC100. Thanks to Casio’s new Exilim Engine 4.0, both cameras have a high-speed 30 shot-per-second burst rate as well as a high-speed movie mode that can capture video at up to 1000 frames-per-second.

New Camera Takes 40 shots per second and records high speed movies at 1000 fps

Casio announced the High Speed Exilim EX-FH20, its newest Exilim digital camera. The EX-FH20 camera is capable of ultra high-speed burst shooting at 40 fps and can record high speed movies at up to 1,000 fps. In addition to simplifying controls by placing all shooting mode settings on a single dial, Casio also gave the EX-FH20 a 20X optical zoom on a surprisingly compact body, 27% smaller and 28% lighter than the EX-F1.
