Today, Adorama announced the winner of their first annual iPhone Photography Contest. The $1,000 Adorama Gift Certificate Grand Prize winner is Neville Black and his image “So Long & Farewell” (http://contest.adorama.com/entries#12815) was created by using an iPhone and three different imaging apps to edit the image. 300 additional winners have also been announced on the contest website with prizes such as 10 Wacom tablets, fifteen Canon wireless printers, thirty $100 Adorama Gift Certificates, twenty-five $50 Apple App Stores Gift Certificates and more.
Adorama’s iPhone Photography Contest was created in response to the rapid rise in popularity of the iPhone as a new platform for digital point-and-shoot photography and Adorama is now planning additional contests to include photographic communities working with other mobile platforms such as the Google Android.
